Started by Maureen Johnson, MoJo's Indexing Service is dedicated to
creating high quality indexes on time and on budget.
Qualifications
In addition to completing indexing course work from the USDA Graduate
School, Maureen has a MS in Scientific and Technical Communication and
years of experience as a freelance technical writer. She is able to analyze
the audience(s) for a publication with a focus on using index headings and
cross references that will meet their information needs.
In addition, Maureen has a BS in Microbiology and a firm grasp on the
technical terminology in the biological and health sciences. She has
worked in a variety of laboratory settings and understands how to bridge
the gap between lay and professional audiences.
Maureen is a member of the American Society for Indexing (ASI) and a
member of the Science and Medical SIG for ASI.
